Flag's cyberspace chroniclePeople like Marc St-Louis who is saying he is the "first unofficial site dedicated to Jacques" must see this as a challenge to keep getting better all the time. He does too. Last month he started a fan club in his site, he now has more than 1100 names in there and it is growing all the time. This month he is adding a feature inviting Jacques fans to write letters that are included in his site. It is a very good idea to let the fans express their feelings, Bravo Marc for this great feature...a super idea!
Now, we must do something original also to keep at the top of Formula-1 related sites and we are working on a new idea that should do the job. We are going to launch this sometime next month when everything is ready. Trust me every visitor to this site should be interested in this idea... We are also working on the new look for the super VILLENEUVE site. This super site will include work from some of our best friends on the Net that will make the Villeneuve site the most important about the Villeneuve, Gilles and Jacques.
One of the original member of the CAGV (Club des amis de Gilles Villeneuve) Mr. Serge Laurence from Laval read in our site that we were looking for someone who would still have the members bulletin that came with membership. Serge contacted me, we met and he offered me copies of the bulletin. We will add a feature to the Museum site to offer Gilles articles from these bulletins from back in 1979. The new Villeneuve's fans will have a better understanding of who was Gilles and what were his thoughts at the time.
Have a very fine day!
